Children Competitors: Parents may accompany their child to the competition mats for support and encouragement but must remain outside the main Division area.

Little Tigers (Ages 4-6): Parents may walk with their child to the mats and enter the Division area if necessary.

Yes, a concession stand will be available.

• Competitors and children under 5 do not need a ticket.

• For all others, tickets will be available at the door for $7 per person.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your competitor’s division start time.

Each competitor will perform twice, with their best score recorded.

Counting for Poomsae is provided for Little Tigers and children’s color belt divisions only.

Adjusting movements to navigate around obstacles will not result in penalties.

Competitors are scored based on:

• Tae (태) – Lower body techniques

• Kwon (권) – Upper body techniques

• Do (도) – Performance quality & execution

Scoring is based on cumulative points within each division.

No head contact is allowed in any division.

Full sparring gear is mandatory, including:

• Chest guard

• Arm and shin guards

• Groin cup (for male competitors)

Little Tigers: 40 seconds per round

Children Division: 1 minute per round

Black Belt Division: 1 minute per round

Competitors will perform three board breaks and be scored based on missed attempts:

• 0 missed breaks = Excellent

• 1 missed break = Outstanding

• 2+ missed breaks = Dedicated

Board thickness by division:

• Children (Color Belts): 1 x ¼" board

• Children (Black Belts): 1 x ½" board

• Adult (Color Belts): 2 x ½" boards

• Adult (Black Belts): 2 x ½" boards

• 2nd Dan & Up (All Ages): 2 x ½" boards

Little Tigers & Color Belt Beginners (White - Orange):

• Push kick, hammer fist, up & down kick

Color Belt Intermediate (Green - Sr. Blue):

• Step-behind side kick, back fist, elbow strike

Color Belt Advanced (Brown - Danbo):

• Back kick, knife hand, jump back kick

Black Belts (All Dan Ranks):

• 3x continuous breaking
